Explanation text explains or tells the process of something happening. While the procedure text explains how to make something or how to do something.


Similarity :

Both contain a sequence of events or events if reversed will not be an accurate text.

A. PROCEDURE TEXT

how to make candil porridge and marrow porridge



INGREDIENTS


¼glutinous rice flour
¼rice flour
2 tablespoons of starch
¼ Brown sugar
6 pandan leaves
2 coconut milk kara
Salt

                         INTRUCTION/STEPS

 first enter the glutinous rice flour starch then give a little salt          




2. then give water little by little

         


3. knead the dough until smooth


4. prepare a plate that has been floured


5. take a little dough then form into small dots


6. then place it on the plate that has been floured so it won't stick


7. prepare a pan then add water, brown sugar and 2 strands of pandan leaves that have been tied


8. while waiting for the sugar water to boil we prepare another pan for cooking marrow porridge. enter coconut milk and 2 strands of pandan leaves that have been tied


9. add rice flour


10. add little by little water then stir until evenly distributed so that when heated the flour does not clot


11. then boil coconut milk and rice flour


12. keep stirring so it doesn't burn until it becomes porridge

13. then strain the sugar water that has boiled earlier then put it again in the same pan



14. put one by one the rounded dough in sugar water


15. wait a few minutes then add the water mixed with glutinous rice then stir until it thickens then turn off the stove


16. enter coconut milk into a pan and 2 strands of pandan leaves that are tied and stir until boiling


17. put the porridge in a bowl


18. add coconut milk according to taste and ready to serve

GENERAL STATEMENT

         This traditional snack has a legitimate taste. The texture is springy and soft. Usually called candlesticks.
Made from sticky rice, brown sugar and coconut milk. This porridge is a food that is quite popular in Java. In other areas known as zalacca seeds. Because the shape is the size of a salak seeds. This food is often served as an appetizer when breaking the fast. 
while marrow porridge is a kind of food in the form of white porridge made from rice flour and eaten with sweet soup (brown sugar water).
